John’s goal is to work for you as an advocate to help educate you about the policies and plans in Oklahoma and to provide services after the sale. AASK Insurance and John are available anytime you need help with claims or policy services.

In 1973, John married an Oklahoma girl, Susie Thomas, and was running the family farm with his father-in-law by 1974. John and Susie raised two daughters on the farm who were the fifth generation to live there. Marta is now teaching at SMU in Dallas and Amanda is a counselor with Mustang Public Schools. John and Susie ran the farm for 24 years until 1998 when John began a new career in the insurance industry.

John’s educational background is in Business Administration. He received a BS from Portland State University in Oregon where he played on the university golf team. He also received a degree from New York Institute of Finance while working for Dean Witter when he first graduated from college. He is currently a licensed Life and Health insurance representative in Oklahoma.

John’s purpose is not to sell an insurance product, but to find out what people need and then research and find the coverage that is best for their individual and/or family needs. The decisions that John will assist you in making will be based on his knowledge and experience in the insurance industry.

John works with only “A” rated (excellent) companies and he will direct you to the best plans and prices that are available. John’s knowledge and assistance will allow his customers to make good decisions and also remove the frustration of having to contact several insurance carriers on their own.
